Northern Lincolnshire is one of the lesser known and less populated county regions.
But from the rolling arable hills and valleys of the Wolds, dotted with medieval churches, to the wide open vistas of the Humber estuary, alive with waders and gulls, it is an area of many scenic delights.

This is a selection of pictures by locally based photographer, prolific magazine contributor, and ex weatherman John Leslie.

As suits his former occupation, the skies, the clouds and weather play a large part in many of the landscapes pictured.
